Licensing Process

LEARN & GET LICENSED

There are some important steps to take before you can begin working in real estate in Nebraska. CBSHOME is here to help you navigate them and get started on the right foot.

Generally, you’ll need to complete 60 hours of real estate education, pass your licensing exam, apply for your license and establish a relationship with CBSHOME, where you’ll receive ongoing development training over the course of your career.

Your track to meet each of those milestones is unique to you. We encourage you to explore your different options and invite you to speak with us for advice. Check out our Create Your Timeline tool to chart a reasonable personal timeline and truly visualize starting your career. (We recommend creating a user login so that you can save your timeline, revisit it along the way and have access to other helpful resources.)
